Post Art Poetry Project Stage 2

It took me two months a while before I finally got around to finishing stage 2 of Post Art Poetry Project.  I initially chose to do a version of de Kooning's A Tree In Naples but felt so uninspired. Thank you Rabbit for letting me switch with you. Click the  LINK  to see the Rabbit's version.

Here is my version of  La Source (The Spring).  Mine had nothing to do with spring or water at all.  I had the figure of the lady as a mother.  This Moleskine sketchpad is layered with graphite, acrylic medium, Chinese ink, stamps, and pen.

I think it's darker than I intentionally wanted it to be.   What are your thoughts?

If you want to participate, I think there are a few more titles up for interpretations. Just go to this link.
