Bird Silhouettes

I have this 1945 published book titled "A Star Danced." I never read it.

During the holidays, I just peeled off the pages and started painting bird silhouettes.  I don't like using black paint but i think it kind of worked with this one and I continued to create several more on the yellowed pages.

I think I will paint some more on these vintage papers as the glide of ebony leaves a nostalgic feeling...of what? I don't know.

"Pares" or Pairs
"Mag-isa" is a Filipino word that means alone.
"Tampuhan" in English means petty quarrel.  Not talking...but not really leaving :)

These are wonderful! I love what you did with the pages of the book.

I've really been drawn to birds lately, too. Been buying up every bird stencil I can find! ;)
