Travel: Camargue, South of France

My official holiday started in South of France Provence. I stayed in Languedoc Rousillon, 10 minutes from the Nimes train station. Camargue which is located in Aigues-Mortes is about 45 minutes train ride away from Nimes.

In Aigues-Mortes rests a medieval city and  a marshland  black bulls, white horses, pink flamingoes and French cowboys called the Gardians dwell. I did not see the pink flamingoes, though.

By the marina, you will find several two-level boats that can take you around Camargue.  Two hour-boat rides, dinner or sunset cruise, it all depends on your budget (from €12 up) and your fancy.

The main economic source of this place is salt  so don't forget to grab one. I got a pack with provence herbs and I LOVE IT :)
